untitled

in an instance like this
leaning against the simplicity of the night end
in silhouette

breathing out a series of long drawn out sighs
and imagine the toxin out of my mouth turning into jacaranda flowers and oak trees

so glad for this moment alone
and the space begins to stretch out around my compact vehicle
like the rolling hills

this is the time of reprieve

"letting up despite great faults"
pollution becomes nothing but fluffy freshness
my sweet purgatory
driving home
